It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of
our beloved Alan Wilfrid Saint Julien, otherwise known as “Lany”, on
Sunday November 14, 2021, at the Hudson Regional Hospital in New
Jersey, at the age of 54.

Born on August 17, 1967, in New York, “Lany” was the youngest son of
the late Wilfrid Saint Julien and Rosemary Jeanty Saint Julien. He
graduated from Union School Haiti in 1985 and attended Polytechnic
Institute of New York University. “Lany” worked as a Document
Specialist for Tory's Law Firm, where he was well liked and adored.
“Lany” was an avid sports fan, to all that knew him, "Jets! Jets! Jets!"
you could hear him bellow out on game day. He also participated in a
number of activities during his early years, to name a few was that of
soccer and rollerblading. “Lany” adored his family, especially spending
time with his children, allotting personal time for each one as part of
his weekly routine. He particularly enjoyed quality time on every
holiday and birthday with his mother, siblings, and close friends. He
was empathetic, nurturing, conscientious and a loyal individual who
enjoyed life to its fullest.

“Lany” is survived by:
Susan Cuthbert, the mother of his children. He met her at the
September 7, 1997 Brooklyn Labor Day Carnival parade on Eastern
Parkway. Spontaneity was one of many of “Lany”’s character traits and
they were married within a year.
His mother: Rosemary Jeanty Saint Julien.
His two children: Gregory Saint Julien and Sierra Saint Julien.

His older brother: Manfred Saint Julien.
His sister and brother-in-law: Margie Saint Julien-Valbrun and
Anthony Valbrun.
His mother-in-law: Yvonne Cuthbert.
His sisters-in-law: Karen, Kathleen, and Margaret Cuthbert.
His aunts: Marie-Ange Hermantin, Jacqueline Saint Julien, Genevieve
Jeanty, Muriel Jeanty, and Elisabeth Jeanty.
His uncle and aunt: Robert Saint Julien and Armond Saint Julien.
His nephews and niece: Zachary Valbrun, Kassyana Valbrun, Alexander
Valbrun; Malcolm Cuthbert; and Marlon Rennie.
His cousins: Mr. David Jeanty & family; Mr. Marc Thompson & his wife,
born Gessie Jeanty & family; Mr. Hubert Schouten & his wife, born

“Lany” will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew
