EULOGY:
Donna was born on December 20th, 1958 to Nimrod France and Alma France in Georgetown Guyana, South America.
She was the seventh and last of seven children: Compton France, Veronica Pickett, Michael France, Loretta Jonas, Claudette Perry and Godfrey France.
She grew up with her parents and siblings in Ben Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown, Guyana. She attended Carnegie school of home economics,
where she found her passion in cooking. After graduating from Carnegie, she met and married Lennox Huggins, that union saw the birth of her two daughters Shunett Huggins-Fergusson and Rona N Huggins. Lennox Huggins was already blessed with a daughter Nicolet Williams of whom Donna has always embraced as her own.
Donna applied her cooking skills in the Huggins Business located in Riverstown, Essequibo Coast.
She migrated to the United States in 1987. Where she became a home health aide and found a love for taking care of the sick and elderly and worked for many years with families such the Ruby Stokes family, the Michele Khan family and most recent the Pansy Rollings family all of whom she was dearly loved by and was considered as part of their family. She demonstrated love and compassion, going above and beyond her duties for those she cared for.
Donna has always been a people’s person, as often seen in her parties and other social events where her passion for cooking and catering bloomed.
Donna leaves to cherish her loving and precious memories, her daughters, her grandchildren Malachi Burchell and Soriyia Seepersaud,
her "Boo/Boyfriend/Ride or Die" Claude Chardonette, her siblings, her nieces and nephews, her two confidants Shereen Khan aka Esther and Gillian Brumell,
extended family Uncle Bill, Aunty Norma Downie, the Mussenden Family, the Khan family and a whole host of relatives and friends too many to mention.
May her soul rest in peace and rise in glory.
