We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Frank J Barone Funeral Home
Kinyanna's earthly journey began on May 2, 1974,when she presented to the world along with her twin sister Kinyetta Hunter to their parents Cephas Hunter and Veda Edwards Hunter. Kinyanna was Mommy's "Little Josephine". She was a loving and kind child of God who loved children and so therefore made it her life's mission to educate and care for children at various venues throughout her professional career, including the NYC Board of Education. Kinyanna grew up in Brooklyn, N.Y. with her parents and four sisters: Theresa, Samantha, Serina and Kinyetta. Kinyanna loved her family, her cats, her work and music. In particular, she enjoyed listening to the artist Celene Dion. She loved to sit and listen to music as well as travel with her friends. Kinyanna is survived by her sisters, parents, her nephews: Aron Hunter Wallace and Michael Leonidas, her nieces: Melissa Leonidas, Shalin Thomas, Samairé Thomas, and Soraya Thomas as well as her Brother-In-Law Robert Thomas. Although God called her home on May 19, 2022, Kinyanna's legacy will live on through our fond memories of her as well as through the recipients or her organ donation. Her light and legacy will truly live on in others.
