Sally-Ann Frances Adams was born on February 6, 1951, to Maria Cameron and Kenneth Adams on the Spice Island of Grenada. She gained her angel wings on January 1, 2021.
Sally-Ann had a strong Christian faith that would be her life-long support. Blessed with a caring and loving heart, she showed patience, humility and love to all she encountered, including family, friends and co-workers. She enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting Grenada and loved travelling to see the natural beauty of God's earth.
Sally-Ann completed Teacher's College and taught at the St. George’s Methodist School until she migrated to the United States in 1981. In the US, she worked in banking at EAB and Citibank for many years and later as a customer service representative at Target until her passing.
Sally-Ann was an educator at heart and always believed that everyone had a purpose and contribution to make to this world. She loved reading, politics, sports and doing crossword puzzles. She was kind, funny and lit up a room when she entered. She loved family, friends and fellowshipping with others. She always made time to check in and connect with others.
She will be dearly missed by her loved ones.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Camille Adams-Bain; son-in-law, Winston Bain; and grandson, Christopher Bain, in Maryland; sisters, Deborah Cameron in Grenada, Gillian Weston, Hillary Santini and Maureen Adams in the United Kingdom; brothers, Obrien Adams, Dennis Victor, Denzil Victor in Grenada, and Michael Adams in the United Kingdom; sister-in-law, Irma Adams in Grenada; aunt, Maureen Cameron in Grenada; uncles, Cloyd George and Ambrose Munro in the United Kingdom; and Victor Cameron in Trinidad; nieces, Dr. Keisha “Nordia” Adams in Wisconsin, Tonia Adams and Maureen Alexander in Grenada, nephews, Ian Adams in Oklahoma, Jason Alexander in Grenada, Aaron Adams in the United Kingdom and Daniel Victor in Sweden; many cousins, close relatives and friends in the US, Grenada, UK, and Canada.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Eric Adams and her parents Marie and Kenneth.
Sally-Ann left an indelible impression on the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Her earthen book of life has ended, but our love will write the sequels.
We pray for her peaceful rest. Amen.
